Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
Welcome to Conivo. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must meet the minimum legal age in your country to use Conivo.
- You are responsible for your account, your login credentials, and all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
2. Driving Safety — Important
- Always drive responsibly and obey all traffic laws. Do not interact with your phone in a way that distracts you from driving.
- Navigation, routes, speed-limit information, and arrival estimates are provided for convenience and may be inaccurate or out of date. They are not a substitute for your own attention and judgment.
- Use voice features hands-free. Set up your route before you start driving.
- You are solely responsible for safe operation of your vehicle.
3. Acceptable Use
- Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. There is no tolerance for content or conduct that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable. Violations may result in immediate content removal and account termination.
- Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm other users.
- Do not post or transmit illegal, abusive, hateful, or infringing content via chat, group voice, one-on-one voice or video calls, Conivo TV, or profiles.
- Do not misuse location sharing to track or stalk others.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its infrastructure.
4. Location Sharing
Location sharing is off by default and never automatic. Each session you must manually turn it on (by choosing to share when you join a convoy or brand server) before your live location is shown to anyone. Your live location is then shared only with the members of that convoy or brand server, and only for that session. The main discovery map shows active convoys — it does not show other users' locations. You can stop sharing at any time via the Share Location setting, and it resets to off the next time you open the app.
5. Posts, Reels & Social Feed
- Conivo includes a social feed where you can publish posts and reels (photos and videos), add captions, and like, comment on, and share content with other users, including via direct messages and external apps.
- You are solely responsible for the content you post. Only share content you have the right to share, and never post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable.
- Sharing a post generates a public link, and content set to public may be visible to anyone. Do not post private information about yourself or others.
6. Conivo TV — Random Video Chat
- Conivo TV connects you to random users for live one-on-one video chat. You must be 16 or older (or the age of majority where you live) to use it. By starting Conivo TV you turn on your camera and microphone and agree to appear on live video to a stranger.
- Absolutely prohibited on Conivo TV: nudity, partial nudity, sexual or suggestive content or acts; obscene, hateful or harassing gestures (including the middle finger); insulting, degrading, threatening, bullying or demeaning other people; violence, self-harm, weapons, drugs, or any illegal activity; showing minors; and any sexual content involving minors (which we report to the authorities).
- Do not record, screenshot, or redistribute other users. Do not share the personal contact details of others without consent.
- Moderation: Conivo TV is a moderated feature. Any user can report another with one tap, and a report may capture an image of the moment for review. Our moderators may also watch and listen to live Conivo TV streams to enforce these rules. Breaking these rules results in a Convo-TV ban (temporary — e.g. 1 week, 1 month, 2 months — or permanent). A ban blocks only Conivo TV; the rest of the app keeps working. Receiving reports from several different users triggers an automatic ban, and serious or illegal conduct results in a permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement.
- Zero tolerance: there is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Conivo TV. By using it you agree that we may remove content, ban accounts, and report illegal activity without prior notice.
7. User Content & License
You retain ownership of the content you create (posts, reels, photos, videos, comments, messages, profile, and car details). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate the app's features — for example, showing your posts and reels in the feed, delivering your messages, generating share links and previews, and showing your profile to other users.
8. Moderation & Enforcement
- Users can report posts and reels, as well as other users, comments, messages, and road alerts. You can also block a user so you no longer appear to each other.
- We may review reported content and accounts. Chats are not monitored proactively — reported content (posts, reels, comments, or direct, convoy, and community messages) may be reviewed only to investigate a report or a safety/legal concern.
- We act on reports of objectionable content or abusive behavior — typically within 24 hours — by removing the content and, where warranted, suspending or permanently banning the user responsible.
- We may warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms or harm the community. Suspended or banned users may lose access immediately.
9. Third-Party Services
Conivo relies on third-party services for certain features, such as maps, search and routing, and real-time voice and video. Your use of these features may also be subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that navigation, location, voice, video, or any feature will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Conivo and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app, including driving incidents, navigation errors, or reliance on shared information.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, you can reach our support team in the app at Settings → Chat with Support Team. We aim to respond within 24 hours.
